Dawn of War Pattern Switcher

Author: IBBoard (Submitted by IBBoard)
Category: Miscellaneous
Version: 1.3 Size: 27KB
Description: Dawn of War allows users to override the default patterns (the areas that Primary, Secondary, Trim. Weapon and Eye colours are applied to) by putting your own .WTP files in specific directories. This little utility allows you to control the patterns you import, instead of having to remember what you downloaded to where!

Update: a newer version of the Dawn of War Pattern Switcher is now available with extra features!

Note: this application requires an implementation of v1.1 of the .Net framework (e.g. Mono or the Microsoft .Net Framework)

  • New Features:
    • Help option in Help menu
    • Imports RSH files as well as WTP (added because Sandwichwarrior has created some RSH files for the Eldar Aspect Warriors)
    • List of imported patterns for each race is now in a table (shows File name, file type and folder loaded from)
    • List of imported patterns can be sorted by any column (click on the header)
  • Improvements:
    • List of Patterns for the race is now alphabetically sorted
    • Progress bar moved into a new window that updates better than the old progress bar
    • Controls within window now resize correctly with window
  • Bug fixes:
    • Fixed an unhandled exception when no sub-folder of any race contained any pattern files
    • Fixed a potential bug when users ran the pattern switcher and then tried to load saved patterns from a race folder that didn't exist when the program was started
