This program seems nice and all, but when I try to convert a .TGA to a .DDS file, it flips the image vertically! Which makes it useless. :(
Reply from IBBoard: This is actually intentional behaviour and should not render them useless. Several people, including Hangar-8, have used the Texture Tool to make RSH images and I've converted a number of TGAs to DDS files to work on RSH/RTX files.
TGA images generally have their origins in the bottom-left (all of the Dawn of War textures are the 'right way up' when this is the case) but Microsoft default the DDS to using the top-left as the origin. To make sure that the DDS image is the correct way up when it is created from a TGA (which will normally be created from a WTP with team colouring) then it is flipped.
If you extract a DDS image from an RSH file then you should see that it is upside-down compared to the TGA.
